3 days to go until *dum dum dum* THE ADELAIDE SHOOOOOOOOW!

It's this once a year carnival thing that happens in Adelaide (probably the only decent thing to happen in Adelaide) with rides, games, showbags etc.

Why am I blogging about it on here? Well, a few years ago (three, I think) they released Hello Kitty showbags! There were 2 different bags filled with different items. I went on the second day (out of 9 days) and one was already SOLD OUT! Grrr. So I got the other one. Last year there was only one showbag that contained the exact same items as the one I got the year before. I brought it anyway, haha.

THIS YEAR, there's 2! Both with completely different items to the previous years, and both sound so good!

$22 each, not bad! The site didn't have images of the items so I guess we'll have to wait and see what they look like. I'd photograph my old showbags, some of the items are still unused but they aren't the greatest.

Shoot me if I don't get my hands on one this year :(

I should though, I'm working at the show! In the SHOWBAG PAVILLION! Unfortunately not for the Hello Kitty showbags, I think I'll be doing more the chocolate/lolly showbags.

MAC x Hello Kitty MASCARA & EYELINER!

I doubt it's authenticity for some reason. When the MAC x Hello Kitty collection was released, I jumped straight onto eBay and the MAC website to check it out. I'm not sure about the website, but I'm about 80% sure I don't remember seeing the mascara/eyeliner ANYWHERE on eBay. Same with stores, I checked some department stores here and interstate and don't recall any eyeliner/mascara. It's only started popping up on my eBay searches recently, hence I have good reason to believe it may be a fake. But there's so many sellers offering it on eBay, who knows!

I picked this up at an insane 'buy it now' price on eBay, $15.99 + free postage!

Anyway, fake or not (it looks 95% real), it's an awesome addition to my little MAC family :)

Hello Kitty Pocky-like Sticks

I was in Chinatown the other week and dropped by the Asian Grocery for some Milk Tea *drools* I always check out the sweets aisle because they always have new interesting random things .. Anyways, came out with this:

It's like Pocky except you dip the sticks. But it ISN'T Pocky because I found actual Hello Kitty Pocky at the same store about 2 years ago:

Their items always seem to be one-off's, I go there and buy things then never see them again .. like the $20 box of GIANT POCKY I once brought. That was literally a one-off, it was the only box there haha.

I just figured that marketing anything to me would be pretty easy, just label it with Hello Kitty ..

I also found out they were running a competition to promote the tees.

The prize: a Hello Kitty plush toy, valued at $300.
